Asus R2H Tablet

The Asus R2H was a tablet that competed with the Samsung Q1, Sony U-series, and a few others. It was considered one of the better devices with the following specs:

Manufacturer ASUS
Model name R2H
Model id R2H-BH059T
CPU type Intel Celeron-M
CPU speed 900 Mhz
Graphics Intel GMA 900
OS Windows XP Tablet Edition
Display Size 7" 800 X 480
Display Type CCFL b/l, Heavy (Stylus) Touch
RAM 768 MB
Hard Disk 60 GB
Keyboard NO
Mouse Pointer YES
Battery capacity 24 (Wh)
Battery Life (tested) 1.8 - 2.4 hours
Weight 960gm / 33.9 oz.
Size (w/h/d mm) 234/133/28
Size (w/h/d inches) 9.2/5.2/1.1

The device was a little heavy for continues holding and the processor definitely could have used an upgrade, but the device itself was well built and offered much for the money.

OQO 02

A formidable upgrade to the aging specifications of the OQO 01, the OQO 02 upgrades with better graphics, more ram and faster processor. My unit had the sprint EVDO which worked fine for the most part but did not get the coverage at the time that my Verizon phone got.

THe OQO2 really got the cool factor grooving with the dock which created the apprearance of a flevitation computer screen. With the eventual demise of the OQO company, many units were sold due to loss of support but still there remains a loyal group of followers:
